Gemma is a Year 6 teacher and Mathematics Subject Leader at a primary school in Warrington. In her nine years as a teacher, she has taught Year 1 through to Year 6, but her real passion is Upper Key Stage 2. As well as being a class teacher, Gemma has spent time as a dedicated Year 6 tutor, working with children at her school who were struggling with Maths and gaining an in-depth understanding of progression across the entire mathematics curriculum. Gemma is excited to be working with First4Maths Academy and is looking forward to the opportunity to develop resources to support teachers.
